Different From The Rest

In an increasingly competitive and complicated world this programme cuts through the maze of learning choices available and promises simply to help managers in manufacturing companies do their job.

No 'leap of faith' is required to put theory into practice. The programme's methodology combines classroom-based learning with practical models and simulations and hands on implementation in a host factory. Real decisions will have real consequences and real learning implications.

Project assignments between modules ensure the transfer and application of new knowledge and skills to the participant's own workplace. Each participant has a comprehensive personal development file as a practical manual for further activities.

The programme draws from a valid process. It does produce capable managers and the return on investing in the programme is directly measurable in bottom-lime business results.

An Invaluable Experience

As part of the package, Forward Vision trainers provide constant moral and practical support both during and between modules. They are not pure academics but experienced practitioners from the manufacturing sector who are familiar with both manufacturing and learning processes. They understand the challenges and have faced them themselves.

Participants learn and mix with others with similar responsibilities from a range of manufacturing environments. They will develop their own network for sharing ideas and experience giving each other support.

On completing the programme, successful participants are awarded the Diploma in Manufacturing Management endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management who provide external Quality Assurance for the programme. The package includes paid membership of the ILM for both the training year and the year following. The Diploma leads to full ILM membership (assuming five years experience in a supervisory or management role).
